Observaciones Para la propuesta de datación de la obra, nos basamos en características formales de la pintura y en su relación con la obra inacabada, identificada como Cat. 1669, en tanto se trata de un estudio para ella, como así también en su relación con la identificada como Cat. 1667. Con esta última comparte las medidas del papel, sus características estilísticas –en particular, el trazo lineal oscuro que define las formas–, y una paleta muy próxima; como sabemos que esta última acuarela es un boceto para Palacios en bría, datada en 1932, no parecen existir dudas para asignarle el mismo año de ejecución.
