Obras relacionadas Sin título, (Cat. 1650 b) Notas Para la datación de la pintura, partimos de una de las primeras ideas para ella (Inv. FPK 1652), una página suelta perteneciente a una libreta de apuntes que muestra varios pequeños dibujos, uno de ellos correspondiente a lo que luego sería Criol pájaros (Cat. 706), obra datada en 1927, pero también en otro pequeño dibujo conservado en el CA-09 que, aunque no tiene una fecha precisa de ejecución, es posible datar hacia 1926. Observaciones La pintura fue desestimada por el artista ya que al compararla con sus estudios previos indicados en Documentación, así como con Sin título (Cat. 1650 b), resulta evidente fue recortada por ambos laterales. Asimismo, Xul practicó una incisión en el centro en forma de rectángulo que en su reverso también se ve intervenido por él, aunque ignoramos cuál era su destino.
