Notas Dentro de la producción de Xul esta obra presenta características inéditas en lo que hace al soporte elegido. Es probable, aunque no hemos podido confirmarlo, que más allá de su evidente relación con Sin título (Cat. 53), haya sido pensada como una cortina o visillo, esto tanto por sus medidas como porque la obra presenta por sus laterales izquierdo, inferior y derecho un borde pintado a manera de marco que está ausente en el lateral superior, que es liso, destinado probablemente a ser plegado para pasar una varilla. De ser así, esta pintura constituye uno de los pocos ejemplos conocidos en la producción del artista de trasladar el arte a la vida cotidiana, integrándolo a la arquitectura, algo que él exploró a través de sus diseños arquitectónicos realizados en Milán a partir de 1918 (véase tomo 1, p. 57 y ss.).
