En 1940, en su segunda exposición individual en la Asociación Amigos del Arte, al mismo tiempo expusieron Silvina y Norah Borges y es probable que en esa oportunidad el artista le haya regalado la obra. Observaciones Al salir a subasta en 2010, se indicó que la pintura era acompañada por una foto-certificado de autenticidad firmado por Natalio Jorge Povarché datado el 15 de septiembre de 1995.
