Esto se debe a que Esfinge con admirues tiene coherencia con su iconografía que presenta figuras que se distribuyen alrededor de la esfinge, adorándola (“admi” de admiradores, “rues” forma plural inventada por Xul de la voz rua en portugués). El título fue modificado probablemente a mediados de la década de 1990 al ser ingresada al inventario de la FPK, cambio que debe entenderse como un error involuntario.
