Notas Aunque desconocemos la fecha en que Xul regaló esta obra a Emilio Pettoruti, y dado que no existe ninguna documentación relativa a ella en el AD-FPK, es probable que el obsequio fuese realizado en fecha temprana. Proponemos 1920 pues es el año en que Xul la expuso en la Galleria Arte de Milán, en cuyo catálogo la obra apareció reproducida, una exposición que fue realizada por el artista a partir de una iniciativa de Pettoruti quien estableció el contacto con la Galería y fue quien se ocupó del seguimiento de la exposición antes de su apertura pues se encontraba en Milán, mientras que Xul estaba en Zoagli donde permaneció hasta poco antes de su apertura, además de haber escrito el prólogo para el catálogo.
