Todos ellos realizados sobre cartón indican que Xul optó luego por materializar su idea utilizando como soporte madera. Por otra parte, es también evidente, que él se desprende de sus pan tree (véase por ej. Cat. 1844), en los que aparece coronándolos a partir de 1952, aun cuando haya aparecido ya con anterioridad pero con una iconografía diferente. En el caso catalogado aquí el motivo iconográfico del ojo de Dios aparece independizado; se trata de un simbolismo complejo que excede aquello que se puede identificar como su fuente (Salmos 33:18), en tanto suma un triángulo invertido e inserta en él una cruz. Para pensar ese movimiento extractivo y que el objeto mantenga su coherencia se puede mencionar que dentro de la Ordo Templi Orientis (O.T.O.), el lamen con el ojo de Dios simboliza las tres Sephirot superiores del Árbol de la Vida: Kether, Chokmah y Binah.
