Notas La obra se encontraba en la sala de la casa de Xul Solar, donde en 1965 se produjo un incendio que afectó también otras dos obras, Contrapunto de montes con Yara (Cat. 831) y Templos (Cat. 852). A diferencia de lo que ocurrió con estas dos obras, que si bien resultaron dañadas pudieron ser recuperadas, en el caso de Pegasos su destrucción parece haber sido total. El único registro fotográfico conocido es el retrato de Xul junto a la obra reproducida en Karina realizado durante su exposición en la Sala V de Van Riel, y sus datos técnicos se desprenden de la documentación de referencia.
