Notas En el reverso y con una orientación vertical en relación con la obra en el frente, se observa una pintura inacabada, descartada por el artista, que muestra un paisaje desde un punto de vista alto: un puerto con embarcaciones y en la orilla dos figuras sentadas. Este reverso permite ver el método de trabajo del pintor, realizando un dibujo preparatorio al lápiz y luego con amplias pinceladas, realizar la distribución de masas y de colores, sin emplear –por lo menos en este caso– una capa de imprimación.
