Notas Esta obra –que en la producción de Xul aparece cerca de siete años después de que él realizara el conjunto aquí catalogado– mantiene sus mismas características, en particular en lo que hace a la relación entre la pintura y la carta astral, en este caso de Lysandro Z. D. Galtier (1901-1985). La amistad entre Galtier y Xul está documentada desde 1935, con la dedicatoria estampada por el escritor y traductor en Los orígenes ibéricos del pueblo judío (1935) de Oscar Vladislas de Lubicz Milosz que se conserva en la Biblioteca de Xul Solar, pero es probable que sea mucho anterior, si no iniciada durante sus respectivas estancias europeas, por lo menos desde el regreso del artista a la Argentina en 1924. Es probable, asimismo, que él hiciese la carta astral y la pintura durante diciembre de 1961 ya que el 16 de ese mes Galtier le dirigió una carta -conservada en el AD-FPK- como secretario del P.E.N. Club de la Argentina, informándole que la Comisión Directiva de esa entidad había resuelto invitarlo a integrarse a ella como socio activo. Observaciones Por la firma (“X.l”) y por la datación con numeración duodecimal, esta pintura se relaciona con dos grafías realizadas en 1961: véase Cat. 1163 y 1808. Cuando la obra salió a subasta en 2010, se indicó que en el reverso tenía un certificado de autenticidad otorgado por Natalio Jorge Povarché.
